Communication strategy:

 

-The target ages are for all so there is really no age limit at all. There is no specific gender, but there is a specific pillow for women (period pains)

 

-The communication objective is to get people to know about the product and like it and be drawn to it. The product is eye-catching and useful to people with bad pains or headaches from sinuses.

 

-The message is practical and rational because most women suffer from terrible pains from periods and need a soft relief to it. Heat packs often help with this so this is why the heat pack is included in a pack. For people with a sinus problem or bad cold, they can use this to feel better and unclog their senses. The message is “Everyone deserves to relax.”

 

-The media used to promote this is social media, through sponsors and putting ads on people’s feed. Word of mouth would be a good way to get people interested whom may have an issue or know of someone with that issue that the pillow helps with.

 

-The face of the communication would be a well-known Instagram star to show off and basically shout out to all of their fans about how much they love the product.

My plan is to create a pillow that releases sinus relief scents and has a removable heat pack inside to help people who suffer from sinuses issues, have colds or bad period or stomach pains. The aim of this product is to enable the user to “Relax” and be at their best health.

 

Target audience:

All ages.

 

Unique:

My product is unique because it is completely customisable or can be bought pre-designed. The pillow is distinguishing from other pillows because it has so many unique features including, the scent system, the heat pack pouch. The product has a logo on the side printed in rose gold letters saying, “RLX”. (Relax)

 

 

Product:

The pillow comes 2 sizes, large and small. Large is around 60 cm and small is around 40.

The sale of the product is on a black-white-rose gold themed webpage. Each pillow comes in a black box with the letters printed on the lid: R E L A X .

 

Price:

The product costs between 50-100$ dollars depending on the pillow and the type of pillow you purchase.

Sinus relief- 70$

Period pain- 50$

Large- 100$ (Depending on type of pillow, it adds on to it- eg, sinus + large=150$)

Small- 50$

 

Position:

The pillow will be in the lower side of the market, as it isn’t that expensive due to realism, as people with these problems obviously need them at a good price which isn’t that cheap but still enough to not leave people out of pocket.

 

Promotion:

The best way to get my product out-there would be to promote it through social media, e.g., sponsoring instagramers to review it. Another way would be to spread it through people, such as friends and family. The pillow is sold through an online website only.

The names relate to the pillow in the way of Relaxing and the scent parts of it.

Like my mission statement, it says that the pillow is designed to give relief to the user, relaxation and provide scents to help those things happen.

 

Relax- To describe what the pillow is to achieve with and provide comfort for the user

Scentz- To represent the stented part of the pillow, also a calming factor

Relief Pillow- To show that the pillow is a relief from stress and pain in the user’s body.

 

 

 

Mission Statement

My product is a pillow which releases sinus relief scents into the air when lain on to help you feel better if you are sick. It has space for heat packs to go into and has an app which controls the amount of scent. You can change and make scents yourself with a removable scent bottle inside. Everything is completely soft and the electronics cannot be felt when lain on. The pillow is designed to calm and relax the user if they are suffering from period pains, stomach aches, stomach aches etc. It helps to relax you with the app being compatible with any phone and is controlled by the user, scent selection modes control the kind of scent you need to help you with.

They must be a good listener to everyone, their colleauges, experiment, make predictions, think out side the box, communicate and be able to spread their idea. They have to be an innovator, a motivator for their peers and audience. They must be a praiser to their colleauges and to be able to boost people’s ideas and take feedback into their designs.
